The Board of Directors of announces, with this paper, its commitment to the development and implementation of a quality and environmental management system. It also announces to the staff the importance of meeting and exceeding the standards required by the customers and the law.

The Quality and Environmental policy reflects the principles on which we base our production, a compromise between quality of product on one side and environment protection and pollution prevention on the other, and which set the guidelines for the Company to be a leader in our field:

1. We must aim for total satisfaction of our customers, by the highest quality of products, considered as:
• the best quality of wine, using the best raw materials, a privileged location, top quality containers and a traditional process of making and ageing;
• a careful presentation of products;
• a wide range of products, which can respond to the different needs of the market;
• a total satisfaction of the commitment given to the customers.
2. Modernization of our plant and equipment, using new technology in the areas where it is possible, in order to adapt the tradition to the health and regulatory requirements.
3. Expert and motivated staff, because the quality of a company’s production also depends on its human resources.
4. Compliance with the environmental law and regulation and of any other obligation subscribed to.
5. A continued improvement of our environmental behaviour.
6. Involvement of the whole staff and its participation in the process of improvement.

On defining this Quality and Environmental policy by the Quality and Environmental Committee, we have tried to see that:

1. It is appropriate to the organization’s purpose and mission.
2. It involves a real commitment of the company in order to satisfy the obligations to the customers, prevent pollution and continually improve the SIG system.
3. It provides an appropriate framework on which the objectives and purposes in terms of Quality and Environment can be defined, in order to check if we are carrying out the Policy.
4. It is documented, up-to-date and communicated to the whole company, by publications, explanation and delivery to the whole staff.
5. It is reviewed so that it is always appropriate, through the Committee and Revision by Management.
6. It involves a commitment to respect environmental legislation and regulation, and of the other obligations subscribed to by the organization.
7. It is available to the public.
