UILDINGS
The geographical location of the Bodega is one of the key issues of its identity, as it is the bodega located closest to the mouth of the River Guadalquivir. This allows it to benefit from the winds and humidity, as well as other aspects of the microclimate which give character to the vines.

The main building, covering some 12,500 square metres is to be found in the Barrio Bajo (lower part) of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, opposite the Coto de Doñana. This fact is key for Biological Aging and Ecological Production of Sherries and Vinegars and this is why our products offer a very unique character and personality.

, S.A. has taken an expansion programme, with the recent acquisition of a huge “complex” of more than 17.000 m² , located in Carretera Sanlúcar – El Puerto de Santa María.

In this new facilities, are now situated the new offices of the Company, a place to receive customers and visitors, the file of Pedro Romero, S.A., bottling, cooling facilities, warehouse, “beneficiado” and processing, factory space/warehouse to deposit alcohol, “musts” and “Sobretablas”, general Store, Reception and Expedition of Goods and Products. Being the “Traditional Winery” only for production, maturing process and museum.

Now the winery has 11.000 barrels in a total of 30.000 square meters of bodega, which will allow an increase in the production keeping the same quality and perfect elaboration of wines.

Some of the facilities can be found in the "Historical Winery", are the following:

The New or Garden Bodega: Constructed in 1880 by Vicente Romero in calle Trasblosa. Houses the first four “Clases” and “Soleras” of Manzanilla Aurora, 2500 Jerez style barrels which each hold approximately 550 litres.
